About
Mercury never made either a '68 Cougar convertible or an XR-7C model, but Team CatVert corrected that oversight. CatVert is a custom convertible conversion of an original J-code XR-7. It was done to match the structural modifications the factory made to create Mustang convertibles. Every convertible-specific component has been installed on this car to replace hardtop components. In addition, CatVert sports a whole range of custom touches, from the XR-7C badges to the custom burlwood in the interior. It is truly one of a kind that prompts everyone who sees it to remark that "Mercury should have built this car."
