About
I bought the car with a restored body and interior from Kentucky. The engine was a non-matching small block, screaming for a transformation. After 8 months of late nights in the garage with Speed TV on in the background, the Corvette LS1 and 6 speed swap was complete. A 10 bolt with the good stuff inside has 3.73 gears. The steering consists of a unisteer power rack and pinion. Zinc coated front and rear sway bars and QA1 coil over front shocks with matching 12 way adjustable rears increase handling to todays standards. 4 wheel disc brakes bring the 400 HP LS1 to a stop.
