About
Owned car since mid 80's, I am the third owner. Car came out of the Philly area. It has had two frame off resto's the latest coming just a couple of years ago 2003 to be exact.
It features an LS-6 454 with Merlin heads, Crane roller cam, Edelbrock crossram intake with two 500 cfm carbs, Mallory ignition, Dynomax headers. It's backed by a B&M th400 tranny and a GM 12 bolt with Richmond gears and Moser axles. Rolling on Weld wheels and Mickey Thompson rubber.
The car still retains most of the original GM sheetmetal. It has a Harwood 4" fiberglass cowl hood over the 600 hp BB Chevy. It is all covered in a PPG BC/CC Cherry Red metallic paint.
The black interior remains mostly stock with just a B&M Starshifter and a couple of Autometer guages installed.
The chassis also has stayed basically stock but just cleaned up and painted with much stainless, powdercoating and chrome
Specs
454....030 over, Forged GM bottom end 4 bolt mains, Merlin Heads, Crane roller cam, Edelbrock crossram intake, twin Edelbrock 500 cfm carbs, Mallory ignition., B&M TH400 with 3000 stall converter, GM 12 bolt 4.10 rear w/ Moser axles. Ran 11.80's with different intake and head combo...feels stronger with the crossram, but haven't had it to the track yet.
Factory Options
Factory power steering, power disc brakes ,tilt wheel, strato bucket seat interior, and tinted glass, SS package
Mods
I found the crossram intake in E-bay for 150 bucks, polished it, and fabricated my own linkage. Everything has been polished, painted, powdercoated, chromed or stainless. It has weld Wheels , Mickey Thompson rubber and a custom blend of PPG base coat clear coat cherry red paint.
