About
I have owned this car for 4 years and I'm still not finished with it. (are they ever finished?) I bought this car off Ebay and it had been sitting in a barn for 12 years. I drive it to 2-3 car shows each week and have been to many out of town shows with it also such as the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit, Mi. The GTO Nationals in Louisville, Ky, the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk Oh, Atco NJ, Atlantic City NJ, E-Town NJ, Maple Grove, Pa, Ocean City, Md, Richmond, Va. Myrtle Beach SC, and many others.
Specs
474ci "Real" Pontiac engine with two superchargers. The top blower is a 8-71 and the bottom one is a 6-71. I have a Super Chiller intercooler under them and a 300HP nitrous kit on top of them. The rest of the engine consists of Ross pistons, Scat rods, Comp solid roller cam (.609/.609 268/276 @ .050 114CL), Crane roller rockers, Canton pan, custom made headers, twin Holley 750 Supercharger carbs, StrelkaBuilt custom valve covers, MSD ignition and 6H heads. Compression is 7.7:1. All machine work was done by Precision Engine in Hyattsville Md with the assembly being done by me.
The trans is a Turbo 400 w/ 9" 4200 converter w/ anti-ballooning plates. The rear is a Ford 9" w/ 4.11's and 35 spline axles and a Detroit Locker.
The paint is PPG Orange Glow which is a Kandy paint over a silver base painted by Cotton Hemsley.
The interior is all custom made using Allante simulated leather by Stitch-Up upholstery in Edgewater, Md.
The wheels are Weld Pro Stars w/ MT ET Streets 33X18.5 on the rear and MT Sportsman 8 ply front tires.
Some other goodies on the car include 10 Autometer gauges in a custom dash, a Hurst Lightning Rod shifter, custom intercooler tank behind the seats, 16 gallon aluminum cell in the trunk, wheelie bars, window net, removable steering wheel, 3-1/2" PYPES exhaust system, rack and pinion, Griffin aluminum radiator, removable fiberglass front clip, fiberglass decklid, quarterpanels stretched 6", complete chrome-moly tube frame, ladder bar suspension, QA-1 coilover shocks.
