- When I was 20 yrs old I had a 69 350 H.O. 4 speed. Black/ Black, car was really fast. I wish I would have kept it, did a trade in on a SS 396 Chevelle which I put a 427 in with a tunnel ram.

Bought this T/A during the 'original' gas shortage in 1973-74.. It's a RAM AIR III, 4spd car.. It has standard blue interior with a console including the factoy 8 track on top, including the dealer sampler/demo tape included! Rally gauges.. Almost all original other than some panel/paint work.. Engine was refreshed late 70's or so.. Back in 73 Muscle Cars weren't worth the price of the dirt they were parked on given the rising fuel cost and shortages.. At the time this T/A was up for sale for 2500.00 with no takers.. It was involved in a minor crash and the owner didn't want a fix and sold the car to me for the difference of the insurance payoff to value.. Car was flat market valued at 2K, insurance payoff was 1200.00.. Do the math yet ? :) Car has been a blast to drive for 36 years! Wow,, how time marches on..
