1969 Pontiac GTO Judge (The Judge)
Last updated Mar 29, 2008
I bought my Judge in 2001 from the Detroit Michigan area, I had looked at quite a few other Judges along the way since I sold my regular 69 GTO in 1998. As many of you probably know, what some sellers think is a great car is really a piece of crap! My Judge is one of the early cars, it has no glovebox emblem. It has the original numbers matching Ram Air III engine, and the original numbers matching Muncie 4-Speed Trans. This Car was used in the video for the American Muscle Car Video series on Speedvision. It also appeared on the cover of High Performance Pontiac Magazine and was in Muscle Car Review Magazine Twice. The car won third place at the 1989 GTO Nationals when it was owned by Tim Rockwell, who was the second owner. I am the fifth owner and I intend to keep it till I can no longer push in the clutch and shift the 4-speed trans!!!!
Ram Air III Factory rated at 366 HP, I totally rebuilt the engine in 2006 and with the cam upgrade it was dyno rated at 390 HP and Torque was 450 Ft lbs. Hopefully I will have 1/4 mile times this year after I replace the 13 year old Bias Ply tires.
