1970 Pontiac LeMans SPORT COUPE HARDTOP ("OL BLUE)
Last updated Jun 30, 2010
Driver, GTO, 1970 Lemans Sport hardtop coupe , goes like stink. That's fast. I have invested $29,000 into her this year.

I found a rust free project with a 400 cu in 75 trans am engine and #18 gto heads all redone. I had her shipped from North Carolina to Victoria ,Canada. I put a fresh coat of Burmuda Blue paint gm code 25 just like the number she came out of the factory with. Rust paint on the inside floors , new carpet, new headliner, new rearview mirror, new judge style steering wheel. new rear view mirror, custom upholstery , new console , new hurst shifter. The inside is done the outside done , the under the car new flowmaster headers and x pipes , new disc brakes , new drum rear, all new lines , new shocks , new steering, everything done. Ol Blue gets thumbs up everywhere she goes.
I have not had her at the track . Utube has similar 400 gto at the track and the engine sounds the same as the ones gettin 12 or better in the 1/4 mile.
The rims are the discontinued 16 inch american racing outlaw 1. Edelbrock intake manifold , MSD ignition, 4 barrel carb, headers, 3 inch flowmasters x pipes. Gto #18 heads are the ones that give the best power for the 400 cu in. Easily changed to ram air. This car already has all kinds of power and torque . I would only change to ram air for the novelty .
This car has the stock console removed and the hurst shifter ratchet 3 speed with the reverse safety lock out. I keep the original just in case looks and what other people think are important. This Hurst or B+M Shifter is far superior and is also a requirement in case I ever get invited to pinks all out or pass time, haha ... could happen.
