About

Working on this one also with my daughter Stacy.(Her car, High School Senior 2011). 350 Vortex small block with hedman headers, 650 holley double pumper carb, auto trans shift kit installed, viper alarm, lowered front end - old school way by spring cutting. It's a 72 Chevelle and changed the front end grill and corning lights to a 71' cause we like its looks better. Put on a new SS hood and emblems also.6/16/2009 was the start of the Project. Bought off of Craiglist from another girl's first High School car. Paint is a Toyota Color call Speedway Blue. New seat inserts from cloth back to vinyl that looks like the Camaro's Houndstooth seats. Custom rear deck is Black & dark gray Checker pattern with new Speakers - Race flag look. Cd changer in the trunk, and the trunk has been finish with Rino liner and the lower back area around the gas tank as well. Rear back side signal lights been deleted and filled with sheetmetal ( to eliminate any water problems). Have to start off slow with this one cause you can get easy second gear chirps when you don't want to (in front of the lawman). Not sure what the rear gears are but guessing above 355. Came with a Big Monster tach on the front drivers post.New carpet, Headliner, door handles and locks. Windshield replace and had all OEM chrome trim staighten and polish.
