This is my first car back in high school, although it wasn't suppose to be. Originally my father had bought a 1973 Nova for $500 from a junk yard, drove it home, and we started working on it. Once it was done it was supposed to be mine. My father did this because he figured with the amount of rust on the uni-body it could go back to the junk yard when I was done with it. Well after lots of time and work on the car he found it was not really that bad. He decided to keep it for himself and next thing I knew there was a plum purple 1971 Chevelle sitting in the driveway. I was a little bitter at first with all the work I had put into the Nova, but I quickly fell in love with the Chevelle...the rest is history.

Specs

Mostly stock, the tired 307 was removed (planned on rebuilding it but my father gave it away) and a rebuilt 350 was dropped in.

Power steering, power brakes, disk brakes on front, AC.
