my dad found the truck in a field down the road from where we lived and he fell in love with it, so it was the usual cash for keys deal, drove it home and gave my brother a call to come get it. so after about six months later we picked the truck up and took it to a friends house to do the bodywork on it which didnt work to well and we primered it and took it to cali, then to south carolina then back to my brother, soon after we moved back and picked up the truck, and thats where the real work began we replaced everything with rust my dads friend painted the truck and my brothers friend layed down the flames and my brother finished it with a great clear coat job, other stuff such as exaust distributor valve covers etc were added for a better running truck then we left the truck to my brother again to hold onto while we went to cali again, then we came back got the truck took it to NC and it is still looking and running great.
the truck has a 454 big block chevy rebuilt to a 502 with an msd distributor a flowmaster exhaust and a 750 holley carb.the body is as usual, the door handles, tail lights tail gate handle are all shaved,a frenched antenna and a four inch chop top, the rear end is the stock 4:11 gears being switched for 3:10 gears for more get up and go. the truck has about 425 horsepower and 311 torque. the truck has never broken down and left us stranded and that says alot about it as well.
the factory options were a stock 454 big block chevy, bench seats,gauges,am/fm radio, air conditioning and rally wheels
shaved door handles, tailgate handle, taillights antenna, emblems and marker lights. for the interior has a 1980s camaro steering wheel mustang bucket seats a pioneer radio, a custom built center console and and a rebuilt 454 to a 502
