- Description: This car is a link to my younger days when cruisin' was cool. My friend Jim owned this car and it ran strong. It had a 400 small block with a M 22 Rock-Crusher (I loved the whine of the strait-cut gears!) Cherry bombs that bolted right to the headers and a 3.73 posi rear-end (he always thought it was a 4.11 because that's what the guy that sold it to him said). It isn't an authentic SS. It isn't a real collector car. It isn't anything fancy at all. Just Jim's old Nova that I just had to have. I've had times that I worked on it and a lot of time I didn't. I don't know when I'll get to work on it next, and not sure what I'm going to get done on it when I do. My plans change all the time, but they're getting narrowed down as I get older.
