1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (Gen'l Sherman)

Photo of a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (Gen'l Sherman)

One family owner. Still have window sticker, protecto plate, emission control systems manual and the owners manual. Sticker price $4,466.09 (actual delivered price $3,836.17 including tax, tag, etc.).

Within two weeks after the car was restored, I drove it on a 720 mile round trip to NC and back so my father could see it looking like new again (at least the body and interior). Since then, I have had the engine detailed and painted (will add pictures later).

Since leaving the dealer's lot, this car has not and hopefully will never see a trailor for transporting it. It was my father's commuting car in the 70's and 80's and will still be driven every where. When I retire, I'd like to use it to deliver meals for "meals on wheels."

LT1 V-8 engine (350cid). Automatic transmission (400 Turbo-Hydra-matic). Solid Lifters. 3.73 Positraction rear axle. 4-barrell Holley carburetor. I found a good mechanic and now I've gone back to the Holley carburetor.

Factory Options

Center Console. Power Steering. AM pushbutton radio. Special Performance Equipment [Z28 package]. Blue vinyl interior. Mulsanne blue

Restored back to original.
