1972 Honda AN600 Sedan (Cartoon 1)

Trophies: 3 Give a trophy Last updated Apr 16, 2009

Photo of a 1972 Honda AN600 Sedan (Cartoon 1)

About

I bought this from a neighbor lady in June of '08. (from blue house in upper right of picture) It pretty much started right up after a battery and some gas were added.
I put a couple hundred miles on it thru the summer. Then one day someone told me about one more sedan and three AZ600 coupes, all in town! I now have two sedans . Am using the second one to improve (not restore) the first one for a daily driver.
Between 1968 and 1972 or '73 Honda imported two versions of this car,a coup and, like mine,a sedan.
America got a little over 45,000 of the two styles combined.
And, not counting works in progress or field or barn finds,It is estimated that there are between 300 and 1000 of them left functioning on American roads today. Not something you see on every corner, in every town, everywhere.....except my town which has my two sedans and three coupes that the guy I bought my donor from owns, two that are rotting away in a field and one that is not road worthy but is 80-90% there. That is 5 out of less than 1000 in one town. Good for me and my on going quest for parts to improve my "Cartoon".
Currently in the process of improving it for an almost daily driver. At least thats my story and I'm sticking to it!
Thank you for reading my endless ramblings! I will post some pics soon. See Ya!
