After a rough summer of sitting and hardly seeing day light the Roadrunner has been getting a bunch of new parts and getting tuned up. Something did the trick and she now has power! Still a long way to go but she can move now and cruise. Already have 3 cruises under our belt with cold weather still lurking. New Motor mounts, leaf springs, and u-bolts coming up this week.
She use to die a lot at stop signs and what not. that problem is gone. turn signals didnt work. they do now. Timing was way off. set and good now. old battery that didn't fit the tray is gone. New Mopar battery in place. Old valve covers gone and replaced with black Mopar valve covers. New plugs put in. New wires to be added soon. Im sure im forgetting more but the point is she is cruise ready!

the old 340 is hurt and weak so we had a very boring summer as far as the roadrunner is concerned. This winter that all should change. After Christmas the plan is to rebuild the 340 and hit the road strong next summer.

the car has a list of things that needs to be fixed. The air filter was filthy and rusted? So i replaced it with a K&N (of course). The plugs were rusted and just filthy. So i replaced 7 out 8 of those with Champion plugs. A couple days later and a lot of cussing i finally got the last one out. It was stuck behind the rusted headers. I have also replaced the plug wires since one of them laid on the headers and had a hole in it. I figured it wasn't working right so I replaced them and put a heat shield on that new plug wire. It runs so much better now and not to mention sounds a lot better too :)
up next i am replacing the distributor cap and i have a bad air shock on the left rear and the master cylinder is leaking. Then on to the little oil leak and new valve covers.
