About

This car was given to me by a freind who did not want to deal with it.I decided since it was not a numbers matching car to go radical.Unfortunatly there are not alot of options for the 2nd generation T/A's .It has a mean 455 from a 70 GTO 6x heads roller rockers I have not dug to deep in the motor yet. The body and suspension has had some major modifications. A 22gal RCI fuel cell has been installed in he trunk and will be fed by roller latch filler located on the left rear quarter panel.A mini-tub has been done and added 2" to the rear wheel wells to accommodate a set of 315/35r18,which will be connected to 9" 31 spline Mosier rearend which measures 49"flange to flange and will be held to the car by a Triangulated 4-link I have built and is modeled after the Prodigy setup and can be bolted in or welded.I have built some subframe connectors out of 2x3 squared tubing and cut them into the floorpans.I have cleaned the firewall and removed the cowl to restore the finish below. The interior is from a 2000 SS Camaro black leather seats front and back and will be incorporated into a 10point rollcage.I have purchased a T-56 tranmission and will be installing as soon as I find a scatter sheild and a hydraulic throw out bearing. Autometer phantom gauges are yet to be installed and wiring details are on the horizon along with a ton of other details.Oh and did I mention someone gave me this car and I drove it on the trailer.
