About
I purchased this Great Starsky and Hutch Gran Torino in Aug 2008. I have wanted this car since I was 10. I was lucky enough to not only sell my Olds Cutlass in short order but grab a hold of this at the same time. I just love it and am very happy with the change from Rag Top to Hard Top.
I don't think there is another one in Colorado but I will keep my eyes open.
The car was converted from a Brogham model and is painted a nice Viper Red. It has a 72 torino hood scoop which was not on the original TV car but I think it looks pretty cool. Of course slotted mags and the famous striped tomato paint and we are set for cruising.
Specs
The engine is the original 351W engine bored .30 over. Completely rebuilt with performance parts including mild cam, aluminum intake, 4 bbl carb, Hooker headers, dual exhaust.
Factory Options
Was a Brogham meaning it was an "executive" or the luxury model car. Car was originally a deep green and had the brogham opera windows in the back ( you can still see these little windows from the inside) . tan interior, am/fm, power steering and brakes and AC standard on this.
Mods
Complete conversion to S&H. Now has leather seats, power driver seat. New console, black interior and vintage police radio. Fully working Vintage Police Siren. New US Mags and Copper tires round out the mods.
