About
I have owned this Trans Am since I was 16 (25) years now. The car was born silver, but now it is black. I tubbed the rearend put on a 72 glass front, crammed in a 468 motor 13.5 compression, w/400 trans. w/ a 5500 stall and trans brake. I have left the original int.except for the rear seat. This Bird is driven every weekend to local car shows,and street races. I obviously can't drive more than about 10 miles each way with a 15 gallon fuel cell, and $9.00 a gallon for fuel hurts!!
Specs
468 motor 400 trans w/ brake 5500 stall. I have built a 509 w/ BDS 8-71 blower to slide in this summer.
Factory Options
Rear defrost, Custom interior, Tilt wheel, A/C Heat, 8 Track.
Mods
Tubbed rearend 9" housing W/4:88 gear and full spool. Fat motor. Trans brake w/5500 stall. 4"exhaust. 33"x21.5" tires on rear.
