- Do you miss it? I just bought #490 off ebay. She's pretty rough, but runs good and has fairly low miles (under 60,000)

About
1976 CHEVROLET COSWORTH VEGA
Mahogany Metallic - Buckskin interior
1 of 1,447 Cosworth Vegas of 160,523 1976 Vega production.
122 CID (2.0 L) DOHC Aluminum Inline-4 - 16 Valves - Forged Steel Crankshaft, Forged Aluminum Pistons, Stainless Steel Headers, Electronic Fuel Injection.
4-Speed Manual Transmission
I owned this Cosworth Vega from 1982 until the mid 90's. That's me behind the wheel in 1988 for this car show photo.
The car had 25k miles. Car was refinished in the mid-80s with the original color, acrylic lacquer paint and clear-coated, and new stock stripping. I bought an nos set of stock alloy wheels and nos Goodyear radials. It did well in car shows gathering many 1st place awards. It was entered in the Super Chevy Sunday show in Pa. in 1987 and 1988. It won best in class (open class) both years. The car was featured in Super Chevy magazine in the June 1988 issue. I wrote the article, captions and supplied the photo slides.
I finally replaced this missed Vega - an original 1976 Cosworth Vega, same color with the optional 5-speed transmission - only 1,592 miles (see garage).
