My buddy has one of these...just hit 51,000 miles. And yes, very fast engine!

Thanks for the comment on my car.
I like your scamp. My dart has the same problem about leaking under the dash and getting your feet wet. From what I have read it is pretty common.
I looked throught the rest of your cars. You got some nice ones.

1976 Plymouth Valiant Scamp (Tilt Power)

Photo of a 1976 Plymouth Valiant Scamp (Tilt Power)

No longer owned

I picked it up for $500 in 1996 and used it for my daily driver for several years. Although it was powered by the slant-six (a good, if not fast engine), I never had any complaints other than it leaked under the dash when it rained -- got my feet wet. I gave it away to a couple that had no car so they didn't have to take the bus to work after buying the '85 Oldsmobile. I should've kept it and given them the Oldsmobile, as the Olds didn't last much more than a year before having major problems, while the friends with the Plymouth continued driving around. That slant-six proved to be much more durable than the Oldsmobile V-6 which had less than half as many miles on it.

Slant six; two-door hardtop.

Factory Options

Don't remember.

I put seat covers on it. Does that count?
