Good on you for taking the plunge. A car worth saving. Hope it goes to plan. You'll need an eleent of 'hang in there' along the way, I'm sure!

Nice find good luck with this resotation. This was a great driver in its day, mine was a 455 4 speed car and I loved it. My ex took it and last time I saw it it was in sad shape. :-(

1976 Pontiac Trans Am 50th Anniversary LE (Lady Luck)

Trophies: 4 Give a trophy Last updated Jun 8, 2008

About

Lady Luck is a 76 50th Anniversary Trans Am. She was being sold as a parts car but had a clear title. The poor girl was a patchwork quilt of good metal tack welded over bad metal... big patches... small patches... everywhere... I mean everywhere... see for yourself in her photo album. She's now safe in a garage where she's being restored... bit by bit... all the metal patches are gone, bad metal cut out and new shiney metal properly patched in... good as new... she's on a rotisserie at the moment and she's getting her dignity back. She's an automatic car with Hurst Hatches... black interior... everything is original except the engine... she sports a Pontiac 400 with a late 75 build date... but it's the wrong block code... trans is original. Would love to find a period correct YS coded block dated around 4/76 to bring her back to as "original" as possible.
