From album 1977 Firebird Esprit model by CorvairJim
I got started on the drivetrain a couple of days ago but decided this evening to do the job right and swap out the 4-speed tranny from the kit for a TH-350 from an AMT 1970 Nova.

Crazyfast: "A tube of Testor's model cement"? I haven't used the tube goo in years! I only use LIQUID cement when that's called for. I also use cyanoacrylate (C.A. or 'super glue') another glue made specifically to bond clear parts, and thinned clear paint, depending on the application. In this case you were close - it was the liquid cement. But still, if you look real close, you WILL see that the starter mounting boss is on the wrong side of the bellhousing. (I assume that's what you menat!)
