- Yeah the 400s are nice the 70 sj had the 455 some even had the 3 speed manual

- last of the full size grand prix and its an SJ no wimpy 305 and bench seat. no offense to any one that has the 305 but i bought this car because it was an SJ with a 400j. An SJ got you in 1977 a Pontiac 400 engine 400 trans buckets console floor shifter and full gauges. this car has been ready for me to pickup at the paint shop for about 2 weeks. i totally remove every piece of trim bumpers tail lights door locks window molding grill head light.....i have the build sheet. it had wire wheel covers and that huge body side moling which i remove and i am not going to put it back on. I put a set of used rallies and skinny whites and without the bodyside molding it looks way sportier..........i can't pick the car unitl next monday.. can't wait
