1977 Pontiac Trans Am (Super Chicken)

Last updated Feb 24, 2012

Photo of a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am (Super Chicken)

My Car started out life as a 1977 Pontiac Espirit, when I bought it 3 months ago, the owner said he had done alot of the work on it which I dont believe, but what I do know is, when I purchased it, it had a 1976 front end, including front fenders, draglite 2 wheels, a 455, which if my memory serves me right was not put in after 76. The previous owner said it was taken from a GTO, dunno, but the markings on the engine do prove it is an authentic 455. 350 turbo trans, auto, with B&M ratchet shifter, pertronix egnition, demon racing carb, magnaflow exhaust, 6x heads, and a few other things, that I am still working on verifying.

This is my first classic muscle car, I bought in september. Between, work in the Army and a wife and child, its kinda hard finding other enthusiasts in the area.

Hoping I could find others, close by the Clarksville area, so I can pick their brains and possibly have some weekend drinking and barbeque buddies, to work on the car and BS with.

Well like I stated above it was sporting a 76 front end, I did a little trading, junk yard raiding, and autozoning. And got it to its original state. Besides the bars and stripes dice, and wrench time on the front end, I am locating parts and getting everything together for restoration.
