1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 (# The Z #)

Well, Here's another sob story. I actually got this car from a friend, trading my '82 Honda Accord for it. It was 1986, I had just got rid of the 'cuda. It was mint, it had a LT-1 Worked Vette motor, Super T-10 tranny, and 411's in the rear. I pulled the plastic covering off the back seat when i got it.
I put almost 10,000 into this car, including a radical new paint job, L-88 hood, & ultimately nitrous. When I hit 2nd gear with this car, i twice had my friend who was in the passenger seat break the seat-back from the enertia.
I lost my license twice because of this car. It ran 12.10 in the 1/4 mile. And was the fastest car I ever had. With my upcoming job with the police dept. - It had to go. I owned it for 4 years.
I sold it to a neighborhood kid, who 1-didn't know how to drive stick, and 2- lost to everyone who raced. He beat the car up so badlly, that when i used it to race someone for him a few weeks later who I beat constantly, I lost by 3 cars.
He owned the car for about 6 months, and someone stole it right from in front of his house.
I miss this car more than any other. It defined me completely. I one day hope to build a complete clone down to the "T".
