1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau (Major Pain)
Last updated Apr 28, 2007
I've had this car in my possession since Dec, 3,1994. Became a keeper right away. I racked up a tick short of 35,000 miles in less that 8 months of driving. I broke a tie rod at a pretty high speed (95 plus)and walked away. I still drove it for almost a year, and it was the car that my wife and I fell in love in (and with). It's in the family, and is not ever for sale. Don't ask.
Presently, it's got a 350TH backing a 2BBL 305, running through a peg-leg 2.73 factory 10 bolt.
Cruise control, Tilt wheel, A/C, H.D. cooling.
Since I bought it, I've changed the tie rods, the transmission, and the rear axle. I also added the Audiovox cassette deck.
