About
I have had the car for going on 11 years now. Sense I got it my goal has been, weather it be hand fab or buy a Monroe Handler Kit. I had the rear lower valence done, so one day I was looking on craigslist under fiberglass bumpers and found under fiberglass fenders this kit. I did a little digging and found that this was one of the original 12 kits that was sold to Monroe shocks, after that I found it was 1 of 5 sold to the public and even better than that it was 1 of 3 unaccounted for kits. So as you can imagine I bought it. It took some doing though.
Specs
Engine…
-Ford 302
Tranny…
-Factory 4 speed

-Engine bored 30 over, comp cam, balanced, Pete Jackson noisy gear drive, Holley 4 barrel 750 cfm carb
Mods
I have extended and layed the nose forward 2”
The Monroe Handler Kit
I fabricated a trunk and welded the upper portion of the hatch down and removed the hinge bumps to make it a true fastback
I took the center ram air scoops off of a 71 mustang and shrunk it length wise and the width to fit in the center of the mustang II hood
I added traction bars
I added double sway bars front and back to stiffen the suspension
Cut the rear center yellow turn signal out and replaced it with red centers
Made my own gage faces
A lot more I just can’t think of right now
