About
I had been looking for a late seventies Nova for about a year. People are very proud of them. I saw this car from the back and thought it was a Nova. I pulled in ans asked him how much the black car was. He said $2,500 and its yours. I asked to look at it. When I walked around to the front I knew it was no Nova but looked very close. I then asked what year it was. He told me it was a 1978 Pontiac phoenix with 62,000 original miles on it. It has factory air and a dead battery. I asked if it would start with a fresh battery and he said it would but it had a really bad low end knock. I opened the hood to find a Chevy 305 under there. I was thinking "Oh a factory V-8 car." Well to shorten the story, I bought the car and put a fuel pump, starter, and tightened the fly wheel. I have put over 2,000 miles on it since then without a problem.
