I bought this 78 TA shortly after having a major motorcycle accident. I rebuilt the bike and started to ride again, until another car pulled out in front of me, bring me flash backs. So I sold the bike on a Saturday and bought my TA on Sunday. The car was a complete basket case, already been through 2 owners. the car was a empty shell on a restored chasis. The Pontiac 400 motor was also rebuilt, but came with 2 truck loads of parts. I began to make her a drag car, but as I started buying parts and pieces, it turned out that I had spent too much money to make it a drag car, so I went with a full blown custom restoration. The car was a solar gold TA, but I didnt much care for old gold look, so I went with a 95 GM metallic Green and kept the tan interior. Ive had the car 4 years now, and still havent completed it yet, but she is on the road and it is a blast to drive.
