Originally a gold non SE 1978 Trans Am. This car was my daily driver all through college and college work years. It is a PHS documented Pontiac. Originally ordered by Roughton Pontiac here in VA Beach, VA. Found original build sheet (but torn up some). It does have small rust areas in the rear quarter and front fenders. Doors are pretty good. The steering column has something broken inside not allowing the ignition key to turn to the off position. I have started on that tear down but have not completed.
The current engine is a 79 W72 block with correct 6x-4 heads from that year. The car ran until I parked it. It still has a TH-350 trans with a shift kit installed. Original geared rear end (2.56:1).
Air conditioned car; Power Windows; Tilt steering column; 15X7 snowflakes being sold with car; The seats are correct 78 custom camel tan.
The car was restored in 94 to be an SE clone. We also added the aftermarket T-Tops that were an in option in the late 70s early 80s. Older Kenwoood aftermarket tape player/radio. 160 Speedo and 8K Tach.
