I think the color of the car is what is going to dictate which one looks best.

My opinion is go with the darker wheel, it brings out that snowflake pattern much clearer....

Great idea on putting the wheels up next to the car...I tried to photoshop the two wheels on an Atlantis blue T/A ..but my photoshop skills are not the best.

I tried the vasoline method, but I guess my fat fingers overlapped the edges too much..the edges were not as sharp..I bet if they were being repainted the same color as before that would work great.

A lot of taping to do a wheel..I just put vasoline on the parts I do not want painted and then peal it off , you might try it on a sample wheel somewhere.OH and for you wheel color I would wait till the car is painted and take a wheel and place it by the car to see which one looks better to you. I know it,s hard to wait but, it should be worth it.
