- Mary and I had (various shades) red Corvettes almost all of our lives. It just became a little difficult to get in and our and was not kind to us on long drives in the summer heat. We still love them.

- Pace car huh..lol. The red looks good. The good thing about owning a car is we can paint em any color we want to. Nice C3 ya got there bud. 5 stars on the paint for sure, got any engine and interior pictures?

1980 Corvette Last year before the computers! LOL Fairly Low miles for the year. Originally a black car, I painted it black and silver like a pace car for awhile looked good,but Corvettes are meant to be RED! So I painted it PPG Hot Red.
