About
I sat in a new one of these in 1982 at a Pontiac dealership while my folks were in the sales office negotiating a Firebird. I thought it was the coolest car I'd ever seen! Then of course there were the Back to the Future movies that re-popularized it and made it even cooler as a time machine!
Then while waiting in line at a parade with my starcar group, my Bandit Trans Am was parked next to my friend Paul Nigh's BTTF2 De Lorean Time Machine. I had struck up a conversation with his co-pilot Reba, and sat in the drivers seat. At that moment, all those feelings I had for the De Lorean came rushing back and I simply had to have one! So I sold my six month old 2010 Prius and bought one.
