This car was bought new by my grandma in 1985. It was almost a top tier luxury car when it was new, just one trim package shy of absolute Oldmobile perfection. This is the car that I grew up in, and traveled all over the place in. This is one of the few cars that our family has kept, just because it's such a nice car, even 26 years and two hail storms later. This car was given to my by my grandma for my 19th birthday. That was one of the best days of my life. Since then I have worked on the Olds and done most of the work myself. This is the car on which my grandpa started teaching me to work on cars, and be able to do most of the work that needs doing. This is the car that I learned to be a shade-tree mechanic on. This car means the world to me. This car is still 90% original.
