- Description: The car has a Lauren Engineering 2+2 nose conversion. It fits like complete crap! I have way too much time and energy involved in making it fit decently - it basically had to be cut apart and glassed back together. In addition, the fiberglass was paper thin in some spots and Lauren had simply filled with bondo before gel-coating the part.
The rear spoiler started out as a Lauren Engineering stock height Monte Carlo SS fiberglass spoiler. The Monte and GP trunk profiles are very different, so to make the spoiler work its been cut into several sections, widened and recontoured to fit the GP trunk.
The RH quarter panel, RH passenger door, RH fender, the roof and the hood are original sheetmetal, but everything else, including all the left side sheetmetal and the trunk lid were replaced with cleaner sheetmetal from a parts car. The bumper skins are Lauren Engineering fiberglass and will be painted body color. - By: DSM
