Finished Interior Restoration

After 5 full days worth of work over the past 2 months, the interior of my Corvette is complete. Check out the photo album for more information. Now, it is ready for the shop to take and drop in a 434, racing transmission, solid rear end and a 6 point roll bar! Will become a 10 second quartermile car.

I purchased this 1986 Corvette for one big reason. I wanted to get back into drag racing at Moroso Motorsports Park with my friends in the Corvette Challenge. I have been running my 07 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, but I miss driving a Vette. My plans for this car are:
434 Forged Stroker
Solid Rear End with spooled 4.56 gears
Upgrade brakes
Upgrade suspension
Add 6 point cage
Redo interior to black and red
The Vette is scheduled to go into the shop in March. Should take 2 months before it is ready for the strip. I can't wait!! I want a mid 10 sec 1/4 mile car...that I can drive up to the track.
