Every time I see a running board, I always think of the gangsters hanging on and shooting and the Feds chasing them doing the same thing.

Know it by those fins. '59 was the real pointy ones.

Military is probably better built and stronger, had to be to take the abuse they'd give it.

I remember the Buick with those holes along the side. Roadmaster was one of their brands.

I knew it was a Chevy before I read description. Babe has that same logo, before they started using the big bow tie.

Dad had a '55 Chevy, the one I learned to drive on. This is an eyecatcher, but would not have had that color "back in the day".

Babe's sporty sib. She rolled off the line with them in '66, they were made at same plant in St. L-Union and Natural Bridge.

My aunt and uncle had '52 Chevy in dark green. We were always a Chevy family, all that Dad owned and my other uncle too.

My cousin had one of these for his first car, but it was a lighter and brighter blue. It was a ragtop too.

I doubt they had that color. Seemed to be mostly black "back in the day" and some green like Terry mentioned. But it's cool.
