Up for sale is a very rare, fully loaded 1987 Buick Regal Limited Turbo T with inter-cooled turbocharged 3.8 liter, gray leather seats, and sliding astro roof. One of only 1035 Limited Turbo Ts produced in 1987. A one owner car has 149,000 miles, and only 50,000 miles on the fully rebuilt original engine. The engine and transmission are 100% stock. The stock exhaust system has been replaced with a "Monte Carlo" style dual exhaust system. The chrome grille and headlight bezels have been replaced with GN-style black units (the original chrome pieces are included with the car). A GN spoiler has been added to the rear deck. All exterior badging has been removed. The exterior finish on this automobile is only in fair condition with significant orange peel. The car has all power options available; they are all in working order. The 1987 Regal Limited Turbo T featured tube headers, Hydro-Boost II brakes, 200-4R 4-speed overdrive transmission and 3.42 rear axle. The inter-cooled turbocharged 3.8 L was refined with sequential port fuel injection, distributor-less computer controlled ignition, and boasted 245 hp at 4400 rpm and 355 lb·ft of torque at 2400 rpm. The performance of this package was well ahead of its time and the “Little V6” easily matched that of the bigger V8’s. 1987 was the only year that the LC2 Turbo option was available on any Regal, making possible the Regal Limited Turbo T model with the power bulge turbo hood. The 1987 model would be the end of the manufacture of the RWD "G-Body" Regal.
