Aug 10, 2009 at 2:02 pm: sweet camaro! same year as mine and i had the same problem as you after i bought mine drove it for two week and it blew up. i paid a 1000 for mine tho. but its runnin again and better than ever. Check it out if ya want.

Mar 20, 2009 at 4:00 pm: cool IROC-Z i prefere the stock looking hoods the most but if i get a bigger engine for my 87 IROC-Z i might get the turbo hood with the hood louvers im not into the ss hoods much but i would keep teh origional IROC-Z rims on it or get then im chrome or something i like the rims for some reason but they gotta be clean and shiny! i think the t-tops make them so much better!

Ahh...this car and I have had a long run. Like many other owners when they buy their first muscle car, this one was a project car.. One of my cowoker's husband sold me the car. He orginally wanted $2500, but the day after I got it, it broke down! I was pissed!! I took the car back and what not..told him that if he wanted Id give him $1500 for it it give me back my$1000 I had already given him. He said fine, and took the $1500. It ended up being the valve cover gaskets, the water pump, the thermastat, all the hoses, the heater core had a leak, I was leaking oil like nobodies business! :( But low and behold...now its running....ok. After I got my engine running decently, I started to do some "visual upgrades". When I got it, it had that "Daytona Turbo"hood, Im sorry, but to me it looked like a birds beek!(I think thats how you spell it) So I wanted to buy that SS hood from HawksThirdGenParts.com but its $600! Instead locally, I found an original IROC hood w/ louvers for $100! Then I upgraded the seats to some black/grey fouth seats, then I needed some new fog lights, so I upgraded that too! Within this month Im getting my ride painted Candy Apple Red Metalic!! Then the last "visual upgrade" for awhlie is going to be some Chome Corvette Z06 rims!! Once the work is done I will let you all know!
