1989 Chevrolet Blazer K5 (My Babygirl)
Last updated May 7, 2013
This is my beautiful Babygirl. She's a 1989 Chevy K5 Blazer. I built her from the ground up. I recovered this rig from my uncles lot along with most of my vehicles I have now and have had over the years. My uncle helped me a lot with the remodeling of her. I took the 454 BB I had originally had in my 70' Chevelle and dropped it in here. I lifted it 4" and slapped on 35" x 12.5 x 15" tires. I custom built the reenforced bumpers and mounted a winch to the front. I also put diamond plating around the walls inside the truck. I have a 5 pt harness Gt. racing seats in the front and a bench from a dodge caravan in the back. She has a PA speaker and microphone system under the hood (love yelling at people walking) lol an also a CB radio. I also installed a train horn along side of the stock horn.
I have work on the door panels and flooring everything is still pulled out. I do plan on taking the 454 put of it and swapping it with the 350 I have in my 96' Tahoe that's sitting there along side this one. Also the racing seats and GT steering wheel will be up for sale. I plan on taking this rig down a notch and keeping it just for wheeling instead of speed and wheeling.
This rig was my first SUV straight steel is why I fell in love so hard :) love the 4x4's
