1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS (mytoy)
Last updated Oct 29, 2011
picked this car up for amazingly low price.Previous owner had just put in new shocks, new tires, new ragtop, new catalytic convertor and did a complete tuneup.Has 73,000 original miles.Saw this car on a Sunday. Was mine and in my driveway Tuesday. This car is a diamond in the rough.I plan on a complete repaint in the spring.Staying with the same color scheme. Also going to get the upholstery redone in original fabric.Mechanicly the car is rock solid. It has been well cared for over the years and has never seen a winter despite being a New York car since it was new.The only rust that needs to be adressed is under the rear lip of the trunk lid and its only surface rust.It will be taken care of in the spring. The last owner put a new vinyl ragtop on.I am debating going back to a canvas top,it would look much better than the vinyl.Once the cosmetic issues are adressed, than we will see about some performance upgrades for the engine.I will have plenty of time since I will NEVER get rid of this car.It is a joy to drive.

The stripes were added by the previous owner.I really love the look on this car. When I get the car repainted in the Spring, the stripes will be painted on not decals(as they are now).Either way it looks great with the stripes.
