1991 Chevrolet Caprice Classic (The Interceptor)

Demolition derby car. Originally planned to be a police project car, its cards have turned to death in the future. heavy slippage into 3rd gear after blowing a tranny line turned out to be the last straw when combined with the blown intake valve in the number 5 cylinder. Originally purchased for $350, the car hadn't even ran in over a year. tinkering with the plugs, injectors, pump and fuel filter, resulted in it firing right up. a couple days later the water pump went. I plated it and drove it off the driveway anyway. I can still remember my first brake-torque, pulling up next to this crappy old truck, valve rattling, coolant spewing, but the car burned one like it was nothing anyway. My friend replaced the pump, and that was the only real repair on this monster until we pulled it off the road. a $400 car doing 80 on the 400? The brakes didn't even work that well, the line on the rear axle was leaking similar to a sponge. I'll never forget my fun with this car.
305ci 5.0 Liter
350 throttle body and injectors
Rust was an option on this model that year, and the guy who bought it must have paid extra
