I went to the local used car dealer in 1997 to check on a low mileage 93 Mustang GT convertible which was gone when I got there and sitting on the edge of the lot was my mistress. I'm so glad the convertible was gone because thinking it through I really needed/wanted a 5.0 LX especially of that color. I originally said it was going to remain stock- after a set of headers and flowmasters, you can see what happened. Car Craft Dec 2010 issue.

This car has had a mild dyno-tune and is capable of 625-650 rwhp but at this stage longevity is more desired than speed.

Factory Options

The car is fully equipped from the factory except for leather seats and cd player. PW,PL,AC,sunroof,PS,PB. Adjustable lumbar seats.

Mods

The entire drivetrain except the T5 trans has been upgraded. I'll keep it until she blows up. The paint job is 12 years old and that is the original color, reef blue, which is a one year offering from Ford limited only to the Mustang for 1993. Ford made 1802 reef blue LX 5.0 HB mustangs in 1993. This car is unbelievably fast.
