Man, I am having the same problems with my Monte. Mine's a 2002 SS. My tranny just went out yesterday. Can't GM make a tranny that will last more than 66,000 miles? I can honestly say that I babied this car because it's my daily driver. Hopefully it will be covered by the warranty. The only way I could get it fixed at a dealership within a month was to take it to the Cadillac dealer.

New Transmission

Well, a little over two weeks ago my transmission took a dump on me. Lost one or two gears. So, I replaced the entire thing for $1,238. I got it back last Friday and have been taking it easy on it until I hit 500 miles to make sure everythings broken in...

Exhaust

I'm thinking about getting rid of my stock dual exhaust and going with either Magnaflow or Flowmaster mufflers. I'm not sure if I'm going to go catless or not. I'm still looking around and trying to see what other people have done and what they have to say....
