- Description: Pics of the damage that resulted when the timing chain failed in the original 5.0L engine. The chain wrapped around the crank gear while I was cruising at 2K at 70 MPH, snapping the crank, breaking the block, and destroying everything but the upper intake manifold and one valvecover!
