1997 Chevrolet Express Conversion (Driv'in Theatre)

Trophies: 2 Give a trophy Last updated Mar 29, 2011

Photo of a 1997 Chevrolet Express Conversion (Driv'in Theatre)

About

After our first Chevy experience, there was no question we wanted another Chevy van. The new vans had a little more hood resulting in a smaller dog house inside the van. The ride was nicer because the front passenger did not sit over the front wheels anymore. The conversion was not as nice as our previous van, however it has met our needs for all these years.

Specs

5.7 L vortec V-8 producing 250 HP

Factory Options

Shipped as a shell for conversion.
60/40 side door
heated side mirrors
AM/FM cassette Player w/ CD
Running Boards

Mods

Conversion was done by classic. Include 4 captains chairs and an electric reclining rear seat that laid down to a bed. The conversion include a large variety of interior lights, vcr and tv and rear radio, all wired to a separate sound control system with head phones. A rear ac was also part of the conversion. We added a transmission cooler for towing.
