About

I had a 1987 Ford Mustang GT convertible I was selling because we needed something bigger for our family. I ended up trading it for a 1997 Chevy Cavalier and this...a 1997 Ford Taurus SHO. Wasn't sure I'd like it at first, but it has turned out to be an impressive and fun car! It was disappointing to go from a 'Stang to a 4-door, but the V8 and custom exhaust make it slightly less embarrassing! Besides, it's got a V8 that's 1.6L smaller than the 'Stang (that's a whole Mini Cooper engine!), but makes 10 more horsepower, gets nearly twice the gas mileage, and will actually drive year round in Michigan! On top of that, the technology in this car makes it a better all-around driver than my 'Stang ever was, hands down!
