About
I initially ordered a Dark Purple Metallic Formula in the Summer of 1997. The dealership screwed up the order, so I waited until the WS-6 packages could be ordered and again ordered a Dark Purple Metallic Formula WS-6. The color was cancelled 2 weeks after my order was placed, so I had to go for a second color choice.
Since then, The car has been featured in Smoke Signals magazine and has appeared in both High Performance Pontiac and Pontiac Enthusiast magazines.
The odometer currently rests just above 53,000 miles, but it is in storage for 6 months out of the year.
Specs
I've had the car up to 130 miles an hour a few years back, but have never clocked her on a drag strip or measured rear-wheel horsepower on a dyno.
Factory Options
WS-6 package "Ram Air"
4-speed automatic
Grey cloth interior
1SB package (power windows, locks, air, cruise tilt, T-tops)
Mods
I've changed the rear axle from a 3:23 to a 3:73, Hypertech programmed it, added an Amsoil air filter, Whisper lid airbox, the "Blackbird" hood stripes in white, the 1999 Daytona 500 Trans Am Pace Car stripes in white, painted the hood and fender grille inserts white and replaced the front and rear side marker lights in the fascias with white lenses.
