I bought the car with 36k miles on it in August of 06 and was previously owned buy one other person. It ran great for about 6 months then the used car problems started. First problem was because in 99 the intakes were full plastic and so that lead to a 4 inch crack. But when problems come up that just gives you an excuse to get newer better parts! When that came about i did my shopping and came across the Professional Products intake, plenum, and throttle body set up so i got it hands down. I did all the work myself and came across another problem well since that setup is a little bit taller the fuel rails came in contact with the EGR valve and that led to a hole in the rubber fuel lines, so that ment i got to get newer better parts. I picked up the UPR aluminum fuel rail kit. So far that has only been my big problems. Other mods include a JLT cold air intake, Diablo Predator, MGW short throw shifter, Pypes stainless o/r x-pipe and SLP cat-back. FR-500 rims, 18"x9" up front and 18"x10" out back rappes in Nitto 555's. car has never been Dyno'd but I'm guessin at the wheels it prolly makes close to 300hp. Lookin to add long tubes and cams here PDQ!!

It has the original 281ci 2v, with my mods it prolly brings around 300hp (never been dynoed). last time i ran the quarter i had street tires and no tune and pulled a 14.8 at 98mph, I spun at the line. I have gone 147mph all stock
