I am the second owner and the car is stock except for a tuned muffler with quad tips, i have the complete original exhaust for the car.
Yellow was a unique color to the collector edition trans am along with the black painted wheels and the decal package which is supposed to represent the feathers of the mythical pheonix taking flight. and how does this car take flight, it truly does make old men feel young again as the ad campaign for the car promised.
Driving the 400 miles westward home, i passed a 69 Trans Am Convertible (yeah i know it was probably a clone, i mean tribute car) on a trailer heading back towards the east coast. I wish i could have reached my camera fast enough to take a picture, but as usual i just was not fast enough to capture the old bird on film. It's a great memory and i am sure my buddies will always razz me that it was a fish type story, but honest as an indian it is true.
LS1 Corporate General Motors V8 engine with Pontiacs legendary Ram Air induction.

This car is the real deal as far as legendary American Muscle Cars go. It could knock the smile right off the face of virtually any car on the road, except for maybe a super expensive european super car, but corvettes and vipers, even the infamous factory asian rice racers needed to look out, Cause here comes a $40,000 car over to kick your .... well you get the idea; and it's name is Trans Am.
