87IROCCAMARO: Black is a possibility I hadn't thought of. I think a semi-gloss might look better than gloss, though. How would I prepare the chrome for paint?

So far it's 3 to 1 against the chrome. I haven't decidded yet.

(BTW, CorvairJim: "Compu-Camoflage"! I like it! biggrin image I don't like showing my plate online, but if I do go with a vanity plate, you can bet I'll be showing it off on here!)

honestly im not digen them either blk ones would look great though! you could always just paint over the chrome really good with some high gloss black.

I'm with you: Lose the trim pieces - they look cheesy.

(Nice Compu-Camoflage job on the license plate! It's clearly supposed to be a PA tag, and you colored inside the lines!)
